Naked cyclists
Posted: June 13, 2009 Filed under: London life 4 Comments »I met up with Maths Chick for a coffee in town this afternoon. I took the tube to Oxford Circus, and what sight greeted me as I exited the station? Hundreds of naked people cycling along Regent Street!
It was hilarious and so unexpected! It turns out that it was part of the Naked London Bike Ride. According to their website, they were cycling naked to protest about oil and car dependency, and to celebrate the “power and individuality of the human body”. And I can assure you that there were definitely saw some interesting and individual examples of the human body on display this afternoon!
Here are some photos that I took …
Here’s a video, too (crap quality, sorry!) … My favourite is the person on the skateboard (?!).

Hilarious! You made my day!
I remember mentioning this on my site, on this very day, last year.
If it’s going to be a regular thing, I might go down next year with a bigger camera!
Masher: indeed you did – just seen it on your website! Your photo is better than mine
err, looks a bit… uncomfortable?!
